      The intake is intended for off road use, ie. the race track where you won't hit deep puddles. There is a splash shield that comes with the kit too. But generally it won't be any different than the intakes where a headlight is removed.

        I got ya. It makes sense for a track car as it wouldn't be an issue. I'm still looking forward to trying your product when my budget allows.

              looks very similar to my rx8's aem intake. definitely changed the sound. most rx8s with this type of intake dyno ~5whp higher. stock rx8 intake is very efficient. not much one can do except route the filter out of the engine bay.

              for those worried about water. i have only ONCE had a hiccup and that was during a torrential downpour. and it really was just a hiccup and that was it. and my intake filter is directly exposed.
              AWD > RWD

                    RE: war chip-there is no adjustability past 7000 RPM. My understanding is everything past 7000 reads the same mixtures/settings.

                      That's not a problem, if needed the maps can be expanded or rescaled by us. But unless you are trying to make power way past, or you are having problems with afr above the last break point you don't need to change it.

                        ok perfect, have a friend that wants us to tune his turbo M52 car with OBD1 back date, told him this should work fine.

                            hey great thread i am very interested in your products, what are the prices gonna look like for the MAF with the whole itake system? i am looking at buying one but i would like to wait until you start selling the aluminum powder coated ones. p.s. are you ever planning on maybe having a group buy if enough people were interested and working a deal?

                            also with the exhaust are you using the magnaflow 14815 muffler? i plan on having a custom exhaust made and was going to use that with the 2.5" also i was looking at the numbers on your dyno sheets did the power actually decrease whe you used your induction system and the free flow exhaust?

                              ETA on the induction kit? I want to buy the MAF kit within the next couple days, so if you'll be releasing it soon I might just hold off.

                                i cant vouche for this product.yet.

                                but i remember he said he is using a single 2.25 to the muffler. i have hte 14815 with a single 2.25 headers back and love it. when i got it installed i was told that anything bigger would reduce performance.
