E30 Oem m3 sheet metal conversion

    Hi Everyone,
This is my first E30 build and thread.

    The Plan

    Convert a 1986 325e body to a m3
    HP goal: 500hp+
Engine: Fully built M20b25 with Borg Warner
    Paint: 08 m3 sparkling graphite
    wheels: 19x9.5 et 33 rear 19x8.5 et 35 Apex Arc-8 matte black
    Suspension: Ground Control Coilovers
    EMS: Vems

    The car: 1986 325e

Body work begins. Lots of spot weld drilling. I am waiting for the fiberglass c-pillar window frame and rear bumper (coming from Sweden ETA March). I will probably order the trunk and side skirts from Pesch.

Thanks to john @ revshift. m20b25 O-ringed block, JE forged 85mm pistons( 8.5-9.0.1), Forged H-beam S52 rods, Oem crank and ARP Fasteners. Ready for boost! The block is going to be sprayed aluminum P.O.R. 15

    More to come....

How much are the rear c-pillar, window frame (and hopefully glass) running you? Shiped from Sweden - man, these parts ARE scarce!!

The c-pillar window frame, strip that runs along roof and window frame, and rear bumper around $1100 shipped. Acm-ab.se is where I got them. They will be here by March. Still sourcing rear window.

Looking forward to seeing this done. Also h1c might be a bit laggy, may consider a different turbo for better drivability if its a 2.5.

Why not go with the M3 front bumper to complete the look?

I'm actually kind of curious to see what it looks like with a late model front, but I'm not sure how the rear would work.

I think there was a white car on here that did just this, with a m3 fenders, side skirts and rear bumper.
