FS: 274 performance camshaft at a discounted price! ---SOLD!

This is a 274 regrind performance cam from BimmerHeads.

This particular cam had a bit more wear than average prior to grinding so it's likely it will need oversize eccentrics on some of the valves to compensate for this. Nothing to be afraid of!

    $190 shipped! SOLD!!!

Would this be worth it on a boosted engine? I was originally looking at the dual pattern. Also I was reading on your site that this increases lift as well as duration, how is lift increased in a regrind? Thanks

I am running this cam in my boosted M20 and have no complaints.

A reground cam gets more lift by reconfiguring the lobe and grinding from the base circle.

Ok makes sense. I am interested in this or one of your 274/280 grinds for a 2.7/hx35 build, but spool/lag is my biggest concern right now. Would either of these reduce lag with their increased overlap and lift? (that's what Ive understood about cams and fi)

Can you PM me a shipped price (to 25403) for this cam in a rebuilt 885 head? I was just on your site considering going that route for a rebuild versus a local shop and I was going to opt for a 274 cam if I go that route. A friend of mine bought one of your 885 rebuilds through a single-item post you had on here (as opposed to the link to your website) and he was very happy with it.

I have 2 complete 885 heads that I can send as cores, if you would want a second 885 to rebuild & sell. I got the second one to rebuild with a 274 cam but this route might be easier.

No core required but I'd still be willing to credit for one.
