It still has the wiring issue, but I drive it.

What exactly does the issue do to the car? Would it prevent it from driving back to Vermont?

The wiring issue has something to do with the car not getting spark. It runs and drives just like it should. The wiring problem is very intermittent but exists. I drove the car all weekend with the only problem I faced was a constant battery draw most likely associated with the stated problem.

There's no e28 FS thread yet. It's at a BMW shop right now getting the only two problems with the car sorted out. Maybe this weekend I'll make a thread.

Oh man, I'm drooling all over this! This sucks, I'm leaving for ATL later tonight and am very interested. I think I might have to tell my dad to go take a look at the car for me while I'm away. Is the wiring issue going to be fix or easy to fix?
