Track it and you will keep it. I guarantee this.

Meh. The s38 is what makes the e28/e24 M cars. That and the attention M put into them. But I actually agree with you...a 6er would be sick. They look sick, can handle power better, and are just awesomee

Probably not. I want a much lighter e30 for track purposes. If I build another e30, it will be a 318 with a ball bearing turbo set-up, fully gutted, and caged.

Ideally I want to get a 2002 and do an m42 turbo, but we'll see.

I'm not discrediting the s38/ the earlier m5s/6s, but it's not worth the money IMO.

The m30 is great for boost, and I can get WAY more RELIABLE power from it, then I would from an s38. Just my opinion of course.

And yes, the e24 is one of the best looking bimmers when done right. I plan to do an s62 with 6 spd in the 6 later on when I'm ballin. :pimp:

yeah, but 6s done right are low n slow cars, not modernized boosted monsters. I mean a dumped 6 with some old school wheels and one hell of an engine would be a cool sleeper, but probably handle like ass

It doesn't. I don't want to scare buyers away with that. The car was bought from auction, where it was deemed salvaged. It received the title because the paint was really oxidized, and there was a SMALL amount of damage to the rear quarter panel and tail light. It was all professionally repaired, the quarter panel was repainted, and the car was color sanded and polished.

There is no other record of accident for the car, it has absolutely no frame damage. It's really a shame that they salvaged it.

Ok Stephen, you're right, I mean you're an expert on 6s right?

I'm building this car because I WANT TO BE DIFFERENT FROM EVERYONE ELSE. Sorry if that's so hard for everyone to understand. E30s are awesome, but I'm bored of them. :|

My e24 WILL handle well, it WILL look sick as fuck, and it WILL be fast as shit.

Don't talk shit when you have no clue. Have you ever driven a 6 Stephen? I don't think so, check back when you actually ride in a properly set-up one, then we can talk. :p

You will! Hopefully I can have the 6 done to bring up for the Picnic this year! :D

Go for the 6er dude! It will be soo baller and unique, and I'm all for being unique. If it comes down to it, you could always part out and sell the 6er when you get bored of it and move on. The same way you're doing now.
