.. find it odd an M3 owner would let an oil leak get so bad that it damaged a journal?

How does that happen exactly. I guess an acute cracked pan/leak situation could happen, but does this not make one a little suspect?

OP... if your grammer and spelling were better in your CL ad it would be easier to have some faith this car is being represented by an enthusiast. Truthfully, better pics, more details and proper use of English in your ad will be more impressive and might get better results.

Ok guys the add has benn updated by the owner car was in some sort of accident and the whole car was repainted no better than "Macco" paint job very poor i even fond a masking tape on left door over the vin tag. The engine is running but weak needs to be cheked out better and the Cluster shows 214k which is a lot for s14 whit out proper care. The rear quater panels and hood missing vin tags. If someone buys this car it will need some serious work and some $$$ put in to. And the interior shows wear @ 214k
