minor cosmetics are not an issue. but body damage in non replaceable parts (like the rear quarters) are deal killers. rust is also a deal killer. $2500 is a good bit of money. im not looking for a $900 rust bucket.

    list of preference:
    318i
    325es
    325e
    325is
    325i

however, i will look at any CLEAN e30 that is a SEDAN, even if it has a getrag 260.

i want this for commuting, so ease of use (auto) and mpg (m42) are the sellers here.

i dont care about colors. not even bronzit. i'm impartial to diving boards or plastic bumpers. however i will offer less for diving boards, obviously.

      really? that is surprising.

either way, the 318i is still preferred.

If it must be a sedan, you can cross off the 325es and 325is, as they were 2-doors. You _can_ get an automatic 318i sedan, but it will be an M10-powered 1985 car, complete with rear drum brakes.

Based on your needs and budget, you should really look for a 325e sedan. You can probably find a really minty one for $2k.

thanks drumad, i totally forgot about that one. i contacted the seller. i have the cash sitting on my desk, so hopefully he responds. i can completely trade the reduced mpg for the 4wd ability.

just to note, i already have a 325es. do euroweaves fit on ix's or is the offset all wrong?

probably wrong, but I thought euroweaves = ix weaves? iono.

Hell, I've been looking for a car to replace my 240 as a DD and this ix is looking mighty attractive lol.

nope. ix weaves are 15x7+35, euroweaves are 15x7+24.

                    more flushness with euros.

this ix is already called for. i talked to the owner already. im picking it up this week.

                    thanks again man. haha. :)
