Alex is the man, here's how it works see. If you have an E30 M3 or know of one FOR SALE, PM the price and contact info, he will pay what is it is worth.

What he feels its worth or what it's really worth?

I'm sure all E30 M3 owners get offers almost monthly (or even weekly), rarely are they in the realistic price range. So- it's not unfair to ask his budget, because it's a pain in the ass to sit down and list every detail about a vehicle.

                So true.

Every owner feels their car is worth a lot more than the buyer. Cash talks, but the difference in what I paid for my car and what I would sell it for, you'd fall out of your seat. If I ever own a M3, forget about ever getting it...

you might check wit Matt Groner in Houston. He had one in his inventory because a customer had two and was offering one for sale for about $12k.

i would say that it works both ways... a lot of E30 M3 owners feel their car is worth 20-30k because they've seen examples sell for that.

condition, condition, condition. it's hard to be honest about your own car sometimes.

not every E30 M3 is worth 15k+ because the VIN says it's an M3.

Well I think he has found a car, in CA. Since it seems to be a concern to everyone..... his budget would be to get the best car for the lease amount of money. The last ten cars I have bought the customers had asking prices, and I made offers less then there asking price, we agreed on a price and I bought the car. There is no benefit to disclose your budget to the seller.

Well finding the best car for the least amount of money usually takes some work in part of the buyer don't you think? Don't we all want to find the best car for the least amount of money? There's no info as to what he's looking for besides an M3. Okay, but what type of M3 is he looking for? there are cherry ones going for 25K on ebay, enthusiast auto, S14.net. So asking what his budget is isn't out of line. He may think he can get a cherry M3 for 10K, who knows. Maybe he only has 15K to spend, etc. This is like me saying hey I want to buy a house, let me know what you have.

lol wow I didn't look in this thread for a few days and look what happened :)

My budget was about 18-20... I found one and put a deposit on it. Needs work but its all stuff I can do so I'm thrilled. Im going to fly over to CA from PA and drive it back cross country. Truly a trip of a lifetime. THanks for everyone who chimed in, I'm sorry I didn't put any more info up.

I understand what you are saying, are you selling an E30 M3 or are there any in your area?
