1991 318is $900obo

I have for sale a 1991 318is. New brakes and new hoses. Was told by the previous owner that it has new shocks but not sure what brand. It handles great though. It is the sunroof model and still has the original wheels with all hub caps intact. The only problem with it is that it overheats. I've read that it is a pretty common problem.
Other than that it runs good. No rust to speak of. $900 obo

hey dude, to be honest and not mean no one wants to spend 2.5k for a car that may need a whole new head job and the the paint is faded with patches of primer. you should diagnose that overheating prob before it gets worse, it might end up being just a thermostat.

Tell me about this overheating issue. Does it happen right away, as in within a few minutes of running? Does the motor leak coolant at all? Also, interior pics please if you can.

EDIT: Also, what is that primer covering up? Buffed out scratches or was there some bondo work done? Thanks!

there ya go. i dropped the price. i really didnt know what they were worth, I'm not real sure whats under the primer cause the previous owner did all that. He said that they were just deep scratches and the place on the hood was where the clear coat was peeling off but I'm not for sure. I'll take some interior and underhood pictures soon and put them up as well. I just don't have the time or knowledge to do anything with it and would like to see it go to someone who does. If you think I'm still off base with the price make me an offer, I'm a poor college student and cash talks.
