For sale is my 1981 BMW 320i. It has ~85,000 miles on it. The odometer reads 80,805 but works intermittently having stopped normal function a year ago. This car has been a very reliable daily driver for 2 years. I have done all regular maintenance and it has showed no problems while driving. Everything works great on this car including the air conditioning. The only thing not working is the rear window defroster and digital clock. I am selling it to upgrade to a newer 5 series and to free up some space. The paint is original and the car is mostly stock except for the items listed below. Some rust through repairs were preformed to seal the passenger compartment, no structural rust is present.
Fixes and upgrades include but are not limited to:
-New water pump, thermostat, and hoses
-Radiator rodded/cleaned and inspected for leaks
-New air conditioner compressor, clutch, and lines
-Fuel tanks cleaned, sealed, and painted
-All new fuel lines
-New fuel filter, accumulator, and pump
-Cleaned Warm up regulator, cold start injector, fuel distributor, and injectors
-New vacuum hoses
-New urethane steering rack bushings
-New tie rod ends
-All brakes rebuilt and new brake pads installed about 10,000 miles ago
-Front wheel bearings re-packed with bearing grease and re-installed
-New front brake rotors
-Clutch master cylinder rebuilt
-New exhaust header pipes upgraded to performance header pipes
-Catalytic converter removed and replaced with straight pipe to new stock muffler
-Front bumper tucked (shortened)
-Passenger side mirror installed (originally did not have one)
-New rear speakers
-e30 sport seats – front and rear seats reupholstered with black leatherette
-Bilstein HD shocks all 4 corners
-Eibach progressive rate lowering springs
-15"x 6" wheels with 205 60 Kumho Ecsta tires
-New Hella H1/H4 headlights
-e90 tan floor mats
-reconditioned rear seat and deck
-Battery relocated to trunk
