      WTF!!!
Not sure if all 12 went to the breaker, but a pretty big E30 M3 enthusiast died, and part of the estate sale had 12 E30 M3's in various states of running/dismantled. Autobahn parts in El Cajon bought a bunch of them.

OP: If your goal is to make a driver E30 M3, then you should save up a few years and find a nice 12-15k one. The prices are rising for E30 M3's but in a few years time there will still be solid 12-15k cars.

If your goal is to make a track monster, then buy my shell.

My goal is to have a project car. I have a Z3 right now, but it doesn't need attention, I just wanted to get my hands dirty and have something that I could say I built. I may have found one, but its just out of my price range. I'm trying to see if there isn't something I can do. Lets hope for the best.

Like I said there are numerous Shops in the greater DC area that specialize in BMW's RRT and Martin Motorsports always seemed to have one kicking about.
