SOLD!
Hello,
Up for sale is my beloved 1989 325is. I bought this car about 5 years ago from another enthusiast, and it got me through college. Sadly I have other projects now, so it is just sitting and needs to go to an owner that has the time and resources to fix it back up.
Stats:
1989 325is
Roughly 240k miles
Leather Sport Seats
Limited Slip Diff
Power Sunroof
Modifications:
Remus Stainless Steel Cat-Back – Sounds really nice, but a mature sound, not too loud.
IX body kit w RD rear valance, Smoked Euro Elipsoids, “M3” sport mirrors
M3 springs
Bilstien HD shocks
Urethane control arm bushings, subframe bushings, rear adjustable control arm bushings, billet rear shock mounts.
Eibach adjustable sway bars
Eibach upper stut bar.
Bav Auto Chip, takes 91 or above
Modified intake, takes a circular K&N filter
Euro Grilles
E36 Steering Rack Swap
Z3 Shifter Lever
The Good:
The paint on the car is newer, and shines up really nicely!
Interior is also in pretty good shape, dash is uncracked.
New kidney grille, chrome is nice and shiny!
Newer timing belt and water pump.
Bentley manual with recent service history included.
Recently replaced rear diff input seals.
New radiator
The Bad:
Has some rust issues. Mostly underneath the car, so the exterior is fairly unscathed, but there are a few spots popping through, the trunk is the worst.
I just noticed that the front tires are badly worn on the inside edge, they will need to be replaced before using as a DD and an alignment done.
The driveshaft has a vibration at highway speeds. And there is a front end shimmy at highway speeds as well. Likely a result of the issues with the alignment / tires.
The power steering does not work.
Photos:
Credit for the pictures goes to my friend Kenny Schabow. They are a bit older, I will snap some more recent ones showing the current condition.
