One other thing, be sure to confirm you have arp head studs when you replace the gasket. If you don't that would be contrary to the advertisement and actionable as it would explain why it blew. Might want third party present when you pull the head.

First of all you don't know what your talking about. Do some research before you speak so you don't sound so misinformed. In addition, I find it almost comical for someone from New Orleans (which is commonly known as the biggest shit hole in the entire country) to spout off about any other state/city.

They can handle much more than that. Most engines will fail far before APRP studs.Comment

Guys, i was dooped end of story. I don't have the so called receipts that he purchased the Arp head bolts. Anyway how can i tell if they are arp's and next question is can i reuse them ? I was reading the sellers previous posts and the last i heard he torqued the head down to 82lbs. ...thats damn tight. I figured out how to dial down the boost.sigpicComment

I think you can reuse them- and they need to be re-torqued again at like 500 miles and then maybe every 30k, but you need to check with manufacturer. I would also check on the psi rating, at some point the arp's could stretch, and if they do they should be tossed. I've read differing opinions on arp head studs, so don't know what to believe. I've never had a car boosted that high either.work in progressComment

So did you get the head off?
Coolant in all cylinders?
Head gasket condition?
Might want to measure diameter and length of all your studs to determine if they can be reused. If it were me, and not knowing how many times they were used and how hard they have been torqued in the past I would buy new ARPs. When you get them record all the lengths so you can determine if they stretch should you blow another gasket. If they stretch you should be able to get them replaced as defective assuming you use a calibrated torque wrench and don't over tighten.
If you have some knock going on that could have lifted the head and blown your gasket.
You may also want to have the head checked by a shop while you have it off to make sure its not warped.
Let us know what you find out.work in progressComment
