But you don't mind fixing a tranny?
          Lol. Great.

A dash swap is 2 hours. A tranny repair? Well I'll let you tell me.

          Kinda sounds silly. Right?

I'm Sorry but we get trolls every week that post "I want XXX e30m3 or Xxx mtechnic and I will only pay XXX and it must be a perfect so on." It usually continues "my cousins buddy got one for $3k and that's what I'll pay. I'm patient."

It gets old. Really old. You then added that it doesn't have to be white, but you don't want a 91 so you basically want one of the roughly 200 black 92s at well below market value and it mustn't have a cracked dash (which probably half of all e30s have.)

If you want an amazing deal you should look locally. None of the cars here will meet your condition requirements and your budget.

DMS has been trolling this site looking for an Mtechnic for $5.00 for well over a year. He has succeeded in alienating almost every seller he's dealt with (search his posts and you'll see) and here we find him. Ever the troll.

I respect what you want and I respect what you're willing to pay. I also think that the two don't align.

I want an e30 m3 for $10k. I'll let you know when I find one. I don't care if it even has a dash.

You have never started finding a car for him, don't act like you did. This thread was amusing though, I'll admit. Have fun..with whatever this is.

8k will get you a good one but will still need work, I'm assuming interior too.

It really does just depend on the situation/seller/location. As ruppertm found, there was just an MT2 for sale at a Chicago dealership for $7,900. It has now sold, but sat there for a month or so. The car was well cared for by a previous R3V member, I think 130k-ish miles, no hardtop, but extremely clean and in need of no work.

We're all familiar with that car. Yes it sold. If it was a manual it would have been 10-12k.

Just so I read you correctly. You now expect a hard top as well on your sub $8k, perfect condition mtech that needs no work?

                              Cool double post.
Do you also expect a hardtop for $5k or is that only your buddy?
Rest assured, DMS is hard at work finding a car for you.

If I thought that either of you were even remotely serious I would talk to you about my car. Everything is for sale for the right price. Your budget and needs are not inline with each other so I see no reason to have a discussion.
