FS: 1987 BMW 325e Coupe (DMV Area, East Coast)

This is more a feeler than a FS just gathering interest. Car is too well sorted to modify further.

For now I will let pictures do the talking

This car sold for 8k back when it had 93k miles in 2008.

I bought it with 128k, now sitting at 153600. It's been a fun 25k miles

I'm not looking for that much but definitely in the 5000-6500 range.

Lower end of that range If I keep

    -front and rear strut bars
-H&R OE springs + Bilstein HD's (sell with original springs and good OEM shocks from other E30)
    -ZHP knob

153k Miles, Every bushing replaced in the last 4 years.

Needless to say rust free as you can see.

Thanks, I wouldn't let it go for that much.

When were the pictures taken? The rims are different than your signature.

All around the same time. I have 2 sets the stock wheels.

And Koseis-- I will be keeping the Koseis.

I have a folder full with the last 2 PO's maintenance records and my own invoices.

wow someone way way over paid. in 08 i sold my mint condition, motor rebuilt 325ES for $2700 and it's a CA car.

as it sits getting 5k would be rough. i think you could get $3500-$4200 for the car as is.
keep it mind it's the most basic car sold in 87. it's also an eta.

                        on the original suspension $3300-$3500
                        Much wow

Around here that car is reaching pretty hard @ $3500. It a stock ETA. The mods you have done are not worth anything.

I was wondering how long this was going to take.

                            Won't entertain posters like above.

"mint" and "clean" condition is subjective... Just look at some of the "clean" and "mint" titled cars on here and CL... my god.

Also, Pictures don't tell the full story. I encourage anyone to come look at this car and scrutinize it. Most cars look "clean" and "mint" on pics but when you buy them and really settle down and have a once over it's far from mint or clean.

Sure it might look clean on pics or on a banner. Was the work done well and right? or was it rigged and mistakes patched up along the way? I skip those cars.

FWIW's this car was not much slower at autox with same wheels, and tire compounds against an S52 swapped E30 on coils lol 1 second slower and due to new tire setup. Actually probably .5 second faster if I knew my car better at the time.

IMO, S50 and S52 swapped E30's are not worth anything now days. S54, M54 and LS is where it's at.
