1989 325iX Salvage Title
On November 4, 2005 I was in an accident. Another driver t-boned my car at the drivers side door. The car was totaled by the insurance company and I now have a Salvage Title for it.
I have a 1989 325iX automatic with 73k original miles on a recently rebuilt engine. Engine was rebuilt by Doug Thoms of D-Craft. He's now in charge of the club schools in Northern Ohio. He also replaced the transfercase with a new one from BMW in Germany. Bill for the engine rebuild was a $3,800 and the bill for the transfercase was alone was $2,800 (not including labor). The car has Alpina's on it (3 good, 1 bad) on 16 inch Yokohama's that have less than 2k on them.
The engine was running after the accident and the fire fighters had to shut the car off. The car is a custom convertible done by the Kent City Police Department. Car ran perfect before the accident and never once let me down.
Car is rust free. I am selling the car whole, as is. Willing to sell it without the Alpina's for less. The car is located in Elyria, Ohio. The zip is 44035. It is about 25 minutes to the West of Cleveland.
