Thanks all! I've had words with the BAT guys. They don't believe the E30 market is quite as strong as I do but, as they say, "it ain't over till it's over."

Doing an oil service & coolant flush tomorrow & will ask the shop to get a few pics of the underside.

I would be interested , but you might not like what I would do with it....s54/6spd all mods from underneath, and recover seats....that being said, maybe somebody here might want the m20 pull out? maybe ssaylor willing to discuss price? 160k miles, 3 panels resprayed?? but, before just assuming its a little overpriced, I would like to see detailed undercarriage pics.

Actually, I've had some discussion with Terry Sayther & Dwight at Zionsville about the very same thing but a S52 is much more doable, and much less costly. Sadly, it wouldn't change the reasons I need to sell (bad back that is precludes me from driving & maintaining the car to my standards). If you took the time to look through the pics and saw the "accident" pics, you can clearly see it was minimal. I've incurred more damage in parking lots (in other cars, thank God)!

jpod999 - your right. I've seen cobbled together 325i cars made to look like "is" with sport seats, LSD, etc. going for $10K+ on BAT. It's not a low-mileage $25+K car like EAG has (a 318is & 325is last I checked) but being a 1-owner, complete records, collectable "is", I figure it's 1/2 an E30 M3 with similar mileage and have it priced accordingly.

Thanks for the info and that does seem minor. The IS looks great! I truly wish you were closer. I'm absolutely sick of auto shippers and their lack of care/consideration for vehicles. My last two purchases that were shipped (past 6 months) were damaged
