I know it's not an e30, but since you all clearly like 80s euro cars I figured I'd throw this up here.
1984 Porsche 944 N/A
$10,500 -- Price drop - $9,000 with BBS wheels, $7,500 on stock wheels
· 59,XXX miles
· VIN: WP0AA0949EN454121
· 3 owner car (original owner had it through 2013)
· No rust whatsoever
· MINT interior
· 5-speed
· All original body/paint
· Full tool kit, spare, manual, air pump, etc.
Paint: 7/10 - few small dings, rock chips, scratches <1" - pretty good for a 33yr old car
Interior: 9.5/10 - 2 or 3 tiny cracks have formed around the edges of a few vents in the dash. None of them are larger than 1/8" and cannot be seen if you're not looking for them. I religiously apply UV protectant/moisturizer and always use a sun shade.
History
The original owner was a doctor who bought the car from Porsche Denver in 1984. He owned the car until he could no longer drive a stick in 2013. I got in touch with the original owner, and spoke to he and his wife - awesome people. They loved and maintained the car by the book from day one.
The second owner put about ~1,200 of the 59,XXX miles on the car. From the time the second owner acquired the car in 2013 it was stored in a climate controlled garage and driven sparingly. I bought it in August 2014 with around 55K miles on it.
Since I bought the car, I have driven it only on nice days (never seen snow, maybe a dozen run-ins with rain). I have also driven the car in several ~6 SCCA AutoX events (ES Class, does well against Miatas).
The price is somewhat negotiable and I will entertain any reasonable offers.
Maintenance under my ownership
-Driver side door handle linkage replaced (OEM)
-OEM Porsche deck-lid gasket
-OEM Porsche Air Filter (55K miles)
-OEM Porsche Oil Filter (55K miles)
-OEM Spark Plugs (55K miles)
-Fuel pump relay (55K miles)
-New battery (55k miles)
-Bosch Reference Sensors (55K miles)
-Bosch Distributor Cap/Rotor (55K miles)
-Koni Yellow Single Adjustable Struts (57K miles)
-Brake fluid flushed and replaced with DOT 4 (58K miles)
-New brake calipers on all 4 corners
-Hawk DTC 60 pads (comes with extras)
-Oil changed every 6-8 months (~1500miles)
Wheels
-Current wheels: 3 piece BBS RS 013 ET 11 16x8 front, 16x9 rear
-Tires RE0-1Rs 225/45/16 and 245/50/16 (3K miles on them)
-15" original cookie cutters come with the car (tires were new in 2013)
Starts on the first crank, runs and drives as it should. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it 600 miles today. The car does not run hot and has never overheated. The timing belt was inspected by my mechanic at 56K miles and is in good shape.
