Well, it's a super sad day. I was about to start my build thread before this happened...

So its time to part it out. This is a 1985 325e (and mechanically was very sound prior to this).

I'll post more photos below but if there is something you want to see just let me know. Local pickup in NORTHERN COLORADO for the large items (unless you really want to pay for shipping).

If there isn't a price listed send me an offer, I'll be updating this list as things sell.
    • Interior Items
      • $1,000 for the pair | Front Sports Seats (driver & passenger), literally just this last weekend I reupholstered them with Lseats leather kit, the mechanisms were cleaned and grease, they work very well. The driver seat has heated elements installed in it.

      • center console with 3d printed cup holders

Here's the front seats getting reupholstered, I steamed all of the foam to bring it back to life and repaired any failures.

It was heartbreaking to see the car I had invested hundreds of hours into, with the desire to restore it sitting there completely totaled. I felt sorry for the car's soul like it made it 37 years and got smoked one week after getting it back from the shop. It's ok though I've licked my wounds and shook my friends hand on this e30 touring with an S52

Sad to see the state of her, but I've just completed my 5 speed swap in Nothern Denver and my car doesn't move, so I'm interested in the transmission when you're ready.

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?

So I'm not parting it out because I was able to negotiate a favorable buy-out which was a bit over $18,000. Their final valuation and offer actually took me by surprise and to buy back the car would've cost me almost $4,000 which would've made the part out not worth it.

I'm trying to get the information on which salvage company/yard it is going so anyone interested in parts can check it out, I'm sure they will want to sell every bit and piece off of it.

it was the guy that hit me and more specifically the company he worked for. There is a ton of construction going on from denver to fort collins on I-25 widening it to 3 lanes and adding an HOV lane and he was one of the 3rd party inspectors. The civil 3rd party inspection company is called Atkins and they are insured by Zurich, both are huge worldwide companies.

So sorry to see this, but please keep us posted if you find out any info on the salvage yard. Also, are the Euro weaves still available?
