    FS: Interior light delay module

FS: Interior light delay module for E30, E28, possibly other models. Direct drop in replacement for the factory delay relay. This module fades in, delays, fades out like modern BMWs since about 1999.

    - User selectable fade-in speed, delay time, fade out speed, each approx. 30 seconds max
    - Turning the ignition to Start cancels delay and triggers fade-out
    - Double ignition turn to Start turns lighting on, regardless of door state
    - Does not turn on at all under 11V (ie. door left open, to eliminate drain from interior lights)
    - Does not require any wire harness modification
    - Can be covered by a BMW relay cover, but has conformal coating

$40 incl. shipping to anywhere in the world

Cool! Are the 3 Phillips screw heads the delay adjusters?

Now I have to open the ETM and find the E30 delay relay location :-)

Thanks! That's correct, but a small flathead is required to turn the trimmers.
The relay is right behind the driver's side kick panel, behind the speaker, clipped on a mount for the central locking module.

Got it, thanks! Now I just need to finish (well, first start, then finish) the suspension refresh, and get the car off the jack stands. In the meantime, I'll look for another relay to salvage the housing, so I wouldn't have to take mine apart. No doubt your relay can be easily fixtured in place as-is, but the OE housing looks to have clips for seamless installation.

                        New batch came in.
Had a few questions about LED bulbs. This module works great with them.
