Board,
Seven years ago I acquired a fully built Euro e36 S50B32 motor and I proceeded to put this in my e30M3. In retrospect, this motor is too much and too wild to have in this car. There is a reason everyone goes with the S54, it is a more compliant setup and more drivable. At this time I am considering selling off this setup which is currently in my car. Details:
Euro S50b32 Vanos delete w/ 6 spd. This was built by Chuck Stickley. Motor has roughly 150miles on it.
12.1 Compression
Weisco Pistons
Pauter Rods
Schrick Cams 308/308
Motorsport Bearings
Mild Port to head
UUC 6 puck clutch with flywheel
Kromer Kraft Headers w/ piping to do exhaust
Arp Bolts
MSS50 ECU
OEM Airbox, Feeded, Filter, ITBs, Fuelrail.
Kessel Performance modified harness for plugin to e30.
e34 pan and pump for e30 installation.
(not pictured is the coil cover which is included)
When I bought this kit, it was essentially missing everything which I tracked down in Germany and shipped over at excessive expense (ECU, Fuel Rail, Airbox, injectors, so on). The ECU has not been remapped so this setup will need dyno time once installed to get running at 100% performance. I was told at the time I bought this that it was a 400HP crank setup and from what I have experienced, I would say that is about right. With that said I would also say this thing hardly idles and screams like a banshee when pushed. Over all it is very impressive and very radical and very stupid in a street car. This belongs on the track.
I don't know how to put a number on this so I will start by halfing what I have in it. This lands me at 9K. If anyone out there is interested in this crazy thing, let me know and thanks for the time. Not in a rush, might not even sell it, don't have that much time on my hands right now! I can also pull this thing off the lift and get current pictures and videos if there is interest. This car is located in Rhode Island.
Thanks for looking.
