put em on vwvortex.com k03's a such a basic turbo. I think u might be disappointed if u made it work and only had the power of a vw cause ur fist is bigger then ur turbo.
in other notes they are good for quick spool but just have a small efficient power rangeComment

if they are only ko3, and not the "s" variety, they arent capeable of much power gains. 03+ 1.8t had the better ko3. the idea of the ko3s over the plain ko3 was a jump from 150hp to 180hp in 03+vw like i mentioned. being close to the ko4 found in the 225 audi TT (correct me if im wrong), the ko3s created the jump in power and a much better base turbo platform.. the ko4 is the next step people seem to go for.. which was capable of an additional 3 - 5lbs in boost when tuned properly. but for the money it isnt worth it, as the numbers and driveability are so similar, its not entirely noticable for us number cravers especially when it was very difficult to tune a maxxed out ko4 project.. unless of course you had something like an 01 1.8t and wanted to get a much better stock swapped engine output.Comment
