That was the part I was referring to when you e-mailed me; very common problem with the drivers side. The reason this breaks is lack of lubrication over the course of its life. This breaks off and then the lock spins but doesn't work. Shit happens.. At least you don't have to completely rebuild it. Get a used lock cyl and change that piece. I'm sure you can find a bad lock and swap it over.

Good idea. Bummer part is I ordered the drivers side today. A special order too. I think it will be an easy sell, not really worried. This seems to be a common problem.
Looking for a donor cylinder now.
