Fuzzysux I had a top put on my car recently but an ex has broken out my rear window. Would you be able to just place in a new window?

                hey,
do you have a genuine top with zip-in window? if so, i can replace it for you, no problemo.

you can send me a picture or post one here - a lot of people who have a zip in window - have no idea that they have one!

if it is actually sewn in, there is no replacement... let me rephrase.. there is one kit available to re-sew in a new window.. but i can actually install 3 tops in the amount of time it takes me to sew back in half of one of those windows (i tried it.. not fun!). if you are patient, go for it (seriously though.. my fingers hurt so bad after 1 ft. of stitching..) . i think emiata sells a kit

they also sell the zip in window - i use them. i charge $100 to zip in the window over whatever their price is at the time for the kit. sometimes it zips first shot and takes 15 minutes.. sometimes it takes 3 hours...

hopefully i've answered your question - let me know what you want to do!

for the first time since 2008, i am forced to raise my prices. i have adjusted the pricing schedule on the first page - new top replacement (still with the top quality german material) is now $900, including top, labor, and fully replacing all hardware with stainless steel.
new custom colors are now available as well for an additional $150. pictures to follow

same top but in a more natural light - this is closer to the real color of the top

Shit. I wish that I had seen this thread last week. I ordered a new top and straps and await delivery on the top.

I'd have gone this route in a heartbeat. Can you PM me an installation-only price?

It is a 4-hour drive but it might be worth it.
