I just found this today and remembered your question. It's not exactly what you're looking for but it might help. They're all from the same thread in 2010.

    Are RD headers equal length?
Decent and good header gains (hp?)

I used the eta oil filter adapter and put the filter right on the block to eliminate the oil cooler. No issues, and the subject car made 157whp on an otherwise bone stock motor. Results are in the m20 dyno thread.

The oil filter doesn’t need to be relocated. You can use a E30 M3 S14 oil filter. They are shorter and clear the headers. Because of the smaller size I change the filter more often or buy a quality filter. I will try to get a video with the top down so you guys can hear the beautiful sound these headers make. They bring a grin to my face every time I drive my mtech convertible.

Does this require oil filter relocation?

    Are they test-fitted before delivery?

I would love to also hear some testimonials or any data collected on this vs. others.

They look beautiful, I am on the precipice.

May I order a set not coated; as they will be going into an E28 chassis and will need to me modified for fitment prior to final finish step (ceramic coating) which I will do on my own?

Interested, but I need to see some proof of this moving forwards before committing.
