Unfortunatley plans have changed and I am no longer moving forward with my stroker build. It pains me to sell these parts, but hopefully someone else can find a home for these parts and put them to good use.

I believe Mark D has the tune for a high compression M20 stroker, but he does not have it on his site, as it is not in high demand. I spoke with him once....I was also looking at the Miller MAF kit, and they offer a chip that is tuned for such an engine.

Those look like my old pistons, if you buy them, the wrist pins are numbered to match the pistons for balance.

He is correct, with the 885 head, you will have a static comp ratio of 10.2 to 1.

aside from being euro parts are there any performance gains? or is it like a building block type deal where it won't really do anything for me now but if i were to be planning a big build project they would be better than what i have now?

It's all about the tune. With a ported head, bumpy cam, and excellent tune you'll see some additional horsepower.
Hopefully the Miller MAF and WAR chip with 19 lb injectors and these pistons will work well on 91 octane gasl. I'm ready to buy: PM'ed.

If you search "Stroker" or "2.7i" you will get a lot of info on this subject. You essentially end up building a "stroker" engine with the lower end of an ETA and the head of an "i"....normally when you perform this swap you end up lowering compression. These pistons would actually allow you to increase compression without having to purchase custom pistons. So yes you would see an increase in perfomance along with a broader torque curve, and the torque coming on earlier in the rpm range.

The stock eta bottom end done proper will smoke a 325i, more power under the curve. These pistons in an eta bottom and 885 top end will make good power, even more than a 9:1 budget stroker, close to what a eta crank/rods do with i pistons and block shave.

I was searching for these pistons and since I couldn't locate any I shaved my block 2mm :( I tried buying these from der affe, but all he had left was the lightened 130mm rods. :(

The pics show a grooved and solid shell, that would be late model. Early had grooved shells on both halves.
