9" would rub more if I'm picturing properly in my head.
First of all it's 5mm pushed out more because of the 15mm offset comparing to the 20mm.
Then it's an inch wider. 1inch = 26mm. So it's pushed out 13mm more on each side of the wheel width as well.

Don't know if that's correct thinking though.

Sebo has 225/40's on a 9" btw. ET11, no rub with flat rolled fendah's.

I want 225/45's on my 9"s too when they come! We'll see how that works out!

That's the same thinking I had......was just hoping the extra inch of wheel might magically stretch the tire enough to prevent rubbing even with the more agressive offset. Wishful thinking most likely. Be sure to post up if you decide to try it

How low can Megan go on e30's? I know Megan's on Lexus gs/ls goes really low...

See first page for how low it can go. It could go very low, you'll just be dragging exhaust and oil pan/skid plate.

Did you happen to try the 225/45's on 9's yet or is that a plan for the distant future??

Do you by any chance have a picture of them installed on a pre facelift e30? Im wondering about fender to wheel gap in the rear with a chrome bumper model.

Thanks, I see the rear shocks are threaded for what looks to be like a true coilover? Just curious on that part.

It's adjustable in conjunction with the height of the car. So the stroke of the shock could be matched with the height of the car. IG: If the car is slammed, then shorten up the shock body to prevent the shock from bottoming out.
