Sounds good to me, I'm in Oak Forest near the post office. Is there any specific fabric you're looking for? I'll make sure to have a boot ready.

If you donate me your ebrake boot I'll replace it at no cost to you. Send me a pm and we'll work it out.

Awesome! The shift boot will be first, I don't have a pattern for the brake yet.

Are any of the fabrics thicker? I like the way leather and suede fall over the shifter. They seem to be fuller i guess, and don't just drop down. I know you don't have leather, but are the houndstooth ones thicker?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

They're all about the same thickness, I smoothed it down for the pics, it's not usually that deep in there. I won't do it for the others, maybe there's a difference? If you want I can line the inside of one for a couple extra bucks.

I found a local supplier with good pricing on automotive grade stuff so after the first round sells out I'll pick up a different assortment of materials. I was thinking about a black naugahide as well as some microfiber suede. I'll ask for requests before I order the stuff.

I can give it a shot, how much taller?

I can do that. Would you be able to send me the boot you have now so I can get it close? I wont disassemble the boot, just trace it out and get the size/shape. It would be the same price but I would need pics of it installed and feedback on the fit.

I'm using a factory boot at the moment so that wouldn't really help ya.
I'm sure you could figure out the size, just add 2 inches lol
                                i dunno.
