Received mine yesterday. Much thicker than the original m20 plates you did. Looks great. Here's some pictures for you!

                thickness plate

How many mm thickness of your plate?
                Is it 3.1 mm?
And what size of bolt at lower core (under radiator)?

According to my measurements and templates there should be about 3/8-1/2in (about 8-12mm). Obviously this can vary greatly depending on a few things (motor mounts specifically).

Ya there is no way to get around how low 24v plates are gonna sit. Better to drag your SkidPlate than your oil pan. The stainless should hold up really well too.
Pretty much anyone on the west coast is about 2 days away.

You are correct, 11 gauge stainless is about 3.1 mm thick.
                  The bolts are m8x25

Got mine installed. I used too much spacer. Gonne crawl under and remove about a half inch and see if that helps. It doesnt scrape hard, but scrapes a lot.

I was wondering how it went.
Just so everyone else knows, Andy has one of the first prototypes that requires spacers to create clearance between the SkidPlate and the oil pan. The production SkidPlates get bolted on as-is, no spacers needed.

Yeah, forgot to mention. My car/situation is in no way a good example lol. I built my e30 for basically nothing. Using what i had and most parts traded and wheeled dealed to get. Sure is fun lol

I have the prototype ready to test. But I haven't been able to get with the local M42 and then I've been sick. Hope to get with him this weekend.

Damn, wish i would of saw these plates before i bought a race skid from TCMOTORSPORT! i was low dont get me wrong, but the plate completely split at the weld going to the steering rack. They had a great warrentee saying that they will give you a new one if it breaks and also a new oil pan. They lied, you must bring the car to them to be installed right. (becuase it is so hard to do on your own). Last the plate slammed into my oil pan and sent a crack where the drain plug is... I talked to them number of times and there are saying that my motor mounts are bad, they are well wrong. TC stated that i had no clearence between the two which i did about 3/8in of it. None the less they are not standing up to their word. I am saying all of this because i feel that it should be heard. I will be contacting you soon about yet another M20 plate. Good luck with these and i hope everyone considers what i have said!
