No immediate plans. It's just whenever I feel like it.
But if I do, R3V will be the first to know ;)

They are supposed to be fitting it very soon. Trust me I'm just as anxious as you are. I've tried to get this taken care of more than once. Hopefully this is it

Few parts delays with dropping the engine in but we're working as fast as we can.

                  Thanks for your patience guys.

Red46 Sump Armor Skid Plates stainless steel $160/shipped

Just wanted to post in here and comment on the quality of this skid plate.

This has saved my car's oil pan more times than I can count. I'm running the 24v skid plate, and have about 2 inches of ground clearance.
There have been numerous times I have pulled over and gotten out of the car because I was sure my oil pan exploded. However, to my surprise, the skid plate wasn't bent or disturbed at all.

The worst incident took place late about 2am at night driving on a poorly lit residential street, doing about 35mph. There was a school zone speed "bump" very hard to see and not marked by any signs what so ever. I hit the bump going about 30mph, I got in a tiny bit of braking just before and braced for impact. The skid plate took the brunt of the impact and it shook the car so hard the trans popped out of gear. I thought it was all over. I broke my m20 oil pan with a "nudge" compared to that.

The skid plate was SCUFFED. No bends, no damage, nothing. All I can say is, anyone on the fence about getting a skid plate, be smart, and GET ONE. This is much much easier than replacing your oilpan and perhaps even your oil pump if it's ripped off.

anyway thanks for making an awesome product, and saving my oil pan and ultimately my engine from being destroyed.
