Ok all installed.. Turns out i have the model with out the relay.
Ok soo giving that it works great. But only with the drivers side door. Is that normal?

Yes. That's a function of how bmw wired the stock relay.

All other functions work normally. You can trigger the effect from the passenger door as well, just but running a wire across from one door pin to the other. It's optional.

Guess i should have read the small print warning

I should have changed yours to something about "do not use as a rectal thermometer".....;)
