Pretty sure Ive posted in here before vouching for this product but Im going to do it again anyways. I absolutely love my boost gauge. Works flawlessly, easy install and looks great.

    10/10 would buy again.

Thanks for the offer, but that won't be a problem. In fact, I'll probably start by doing as much work on the gauges as I can ahead of time before taking any orders so I can keep the turn around time as short as possible and I don't like holding on to people's money for long periods of time if I can help it. With that said the gauges are labor intensive and working on 6 or so at the same time, the turn around could still be 1-2 months (though ideal would be under a month).

Well I'm working towards it now. I'm doing as much as I can before taking any orders to help things go smoothly. But as it is now I'm getting only a couple hours a week to work on the gauges. So progress is slow but moving forward. I just got in all the parts to start building the circuits so I'll be working on that for the next 1 to 2 weeks.

As far as orders go, once I'm ready I"ll post up a link and it will pretty much be first come first serve. It's just much simpler for me to do it this way than trying to keep track of people and also since there are quite a few more people interested in it than I can make in this batch it just seems like the easiest fair way to do it. (OK so maybe not the fairest way, but at least it's random)

Also, I'm in the process and really close to getting some garage space so I can work on my e30 again. It's been over a year since I have been able to drive it, so really looking forward to getting it running again. But yeah, I'll be working on that too when time allows.

Question: what size vacuum hose is the nipple sized for? 1/8", 3/16", etc?

3mm to 3.5mm will work. 1/8" is between the two so it should work perfect.

Also, it is the same sensor package as megasquirt so if you happen to have that, whatever tubing you are using should work fine.

Put me on the list for one as well. Like someone else said, charge more to make it MORE WORTH YOUR TIME as an incentive. This is truly an AWESOME product you have here.

A couple of questions on this. 1.) why would you want to indicate vacuum with this guage? Is there a use for that information?? 2.) Would the 20 psi or 30 psi vacuum guage be better for an M42? I have no idea how much vacuum the engine pulls. 3.) Sorry if these are dumb questions :)

Justrack, I know you said you aren't planning on doing a list but more a first come first serve. I was wondering if you have a time frame when your next batch will be coming out though, in terms of a specific date? I REALLY want one of these badly! It's a fantastic piece and well built!

1.) Personally, I'm not too sure, I choose to have boost only in my car since that's what I really care to see and it gives it more resolution on the scale. But I can certainly see why you would want it there, since vacuum does tell you useful info at certain times, and 80% the car is in vacuum anyways so I can see why you would want the gauge to show it.

2.) If you are referring to the vacuum side, the units are actually in "in. Hg.", inches of mercury (even though the gauge face doesn't say it, the units switch over at 0 psi. This is very typical of every other vacuum/boost gauge out there.) The only reason there is a 20 inHg one is because someone asked for it at some point, 30 inHg is pretty much the standard. For info: 30 inHg is pretty much a complete vacuum, so depending on your engine and it's health it may or may not go above 20 inHg vacuum, but it will never go beyond 30 inHg.

If you happen to be referring to the pressure side, well that depends on what you are using for forced induction and how much boost you anticipate making.

3.) No worries! As long as it is relevant its worth asking and worth answering.

As gibbsinc said, I'm not really keeping track of list as that would slow me down even more managing it, also I'm not sure I'd ever really be able to reach the end of it unfortunately. So when I'm ready, I'll put up the link for it, and then it will be the first 6 people for this batch.

I'm making good progress on getting stuff ready. I'd say I'm about half way done before I'm ready to take the orders. At the soonest I would say this weekend, but probably more realistically next week or if I don't get too much time to work on them, the week after that.

                                Thanks!
