LOL. you're kidding right? You could wash somebody's car for $20 and not have to pay listing fees or bother with shipping.

        Why yes, yes it is!

Sadly... its not really. The purpose of this one was just to get a feel for selling something on eBay. Its cheap and I needed some experience, a little extra cash for something I don't want is always good too.

My first tip for eBay is charge the actual shipping amount. Its not going to cost $7 to ship that hat. I hate when people jack up shipping, like people that charge $20 to ship a shift knob or $35 to ship a camera...

Ebay dosent take a cut of the shipping amount. If you sell something for $0.99 with 50 dollar shipping ebay only takes a cut of the $0.99. Thats why people do it. You can also start something at like $1.00 so to get it up to price people have to make more bids, usually making people think its really special or something. You also dont have to pay as much to list it then.

I know that, its just fucking annoying and I believe its against eBay's rules too.

Any other suggestions to my listing? I'm sure shipping won't be more than $3.00. Is my listing reasonable? Thanks for the help.

Yeah its against the rules and I hate it too. I always do buyer paycs actual shipping charges cause Im not trying to make a dime of anything but the item itself. I believe Ebay is trying to crack down on people having outrageous shipping to avoid Ebay from getting a decent cut from the item.
