One of my favorite cabbies, aside from Dave's/my own. Every time I see your car or Bobby's coupe it makes me want to paint my car brillantrot or zinno ;)

For those of you who keep forgetting the rules, I'll say this again.

FS posts are in no way shape or form a discussion thread. They are there to post something to be sold or bought, and for POTENTIAL BUYERS to ask questions or make offers. It's ok for you to post reactions to someone selling a car they love (like this one) or to "bump" the post encouraging a quick and successful sale, or positive feedback for the member to help increase their chance of selling, but it it NOT ok for you to question any part of the sale or the item being sold, whether it be PRICE, DETAILS, FACTS LEFT OUT, questions of authenticity, or anything else that may discourage a potential buyer from purchasing the item or in any way hurts the chances of a sale.

If you have any issues with what is posted in a FS thread - contact the member via PM. It's out of common courtesy that this is necessary, as well as continuing to respect the rules of the FS forum.

For those of you that don't think I am ethical here is one of the emails I have returned to interested buyers, he asked if I would allow a shipping discount if buy it now were used, interestingly I have had no response since my email.

First I need you to know the car was in an accident, I had the hood, fender & radiator core support replaced by a dealer body shop using oem BMW parts. There was no frame damage per the caroliner spec.

The car is better than before because I replaced the valance with one that has internal fogs instead of the ugly ones that hung from the bumper.

I am willing to give 400.00 to shipping, which I need you to arrange but I will take the car within a reasonable distance to be shipped.

I will accept 1000.00 when you use buy it now and need you to pay the remaining 7600.00 by 5pm cst Friday.

Asked why mine was worth 9k, I told him that is by far cleaner than mine and that I felt it was worth a minimum of 12k & if he could get it he should buy it.

I am sad but glad it is over. I would have let it go for less but feel it is a value at 9k. It went to the person that I posted the email I sent describing the accident, he is a mechanic in Ohio.

Maybe Dave knows him?

I get one last weekend as I have a deposit & commitment for the remainder

by 5pm CST Monday.

Don't think this means you get rid of me, as I am like a piece of gum on your shoe!

Dave, Columbus, OH 43213, Fred now had a respriatory issue he is coughing and my optimistic spouse has decided he has pnumonia & diabetes.

I so enjoy getting the happy news EVERY time I call.
