most common for an NA engine are:
voltmeter
coolant temperature
oil temperature
oil pressure

I like oil temp a lot as it really shows how long it takes for the oil to get to nominal operating temperature before I go ripping around.

The e30 vent gauge without senders is like having a TV without signal source, it will not show anything.

The factory senders can not be used as the vent gauge modules are not calibrated to them, the output signal type of the OEM sender is unknown and we do not know the accuracy of the sender as well.

This is the setup I ordered. Is there an easy way to add warning lights to the setup? They are useful for track driving when you aren't looking at the gauges all that often.

You can set the low or high set points up to flash.

The gauge does have user definable warning thresholds where the display will blink, but that isn't the same as a light in your face.

I will speak to my engineer and get back to you with an answer.

I PM'd you, but I'm curious if you could do a shift light, oil pressure, and volt meter combo with senders for an S54 powered M Coupe? The vent size might be slight different. Perhaps spacers?

The e30 vent setup is made specifically for the e30 vent and will not fit into another model, howveer, the gauge modules themselves can be used in other applications.



If you wanted something for your M Coupe we could do a custom setup in your vent.

No because the vents are the same in either dash.
