    NEW Bimmerheads 274 Regrind Camshaft

    Hey all-

Purchased a cam because I was planning on building a spare head I have. Found out that head was bad, so I'm no longer going to do that.

    Bimmerheads 274 Regrind

Brand new, still wrapped up in bubble wrap.

    $225 shipped firm

Save yourself the wait and also the cost of shipping your core back to them, all without having to pay an extra $100 up front for a core.

To my knowledge the cam is to be installed straight up, so no, you wouldn't need one unless you wanted to move around the valve events to better suit your particular setup.

I had to use 12 oversized eccentrics to get the proper clearances on my regrind from BH. So figure $140 for those to get it correct.

Your valvetrain likely had excessive wear then. We've installed these cams in countless cylinder heads and have only needed oversized eccentrics in one case.

Also, we sell a set of 12 oversized eccentrics for $90 shipped.

Well, the machine shop that rebuilt the head says that everything was right on spec, so I don't know why the discrepancy in valve lash settings. Machine shop recommended using 1-2mm lash caps on the stems, and OE eccentrics. Cam works great though, pulls like mad to 7k.
