sounds like you're buying low quality bulbs/kits. HIDs should last for a very long time. I use OEM or Morimoto gear and they last for ages.

DDM and other 'eBay' brands are garbage in my experience...although they seem to be very popular ('cause they cheap).

        Buy once, buy quality.

Working on it. Trying to find someone with an H4 in an E30 so I can actually shoot it and post results. Hang tight :)

See below reply. What headlight style do you have?

Yes. There is a wide range of quality from very low to very high.

I have 9007 headlights in my Jetta, would be willing to test in reflector housings.

Yeah. I'd install and get shots of them against a wall/door to to see if the light is focused or scattered.

That is one bulb style en route to me. Had someone request it so have that en route with a few stock pieces as well as the reverse stuff :)

Check back with me again soon.

I only had LED in the highs. Can place into the low beams and snap a photo.

I would love to see how much scatter there is with these in a smiley lowbeam.

also pretty interested in (pictures of) how these would work in the smiley lowbeam if paired with a Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 Bi-Xenon Projector via one of these retrofit kits vs an HID setup.
