What has been done other than a re-bore? For $4.5K without a head I'm expecting a lot to be honest

Yousers... That is a crazy steep price for an S52 crank and some stock S52 rods. That's $500 worth right there plus the engine machine work and some new trans seals, and no pistons; I don't see where $4500 comes in but I wouldn't know. Regardless of cost or modification, GL man.

The best of luck to you but no one on this forum will spend 4500 on a block with just a new bore a deck, some accessories, and s52 internals. For that kind of money most would just buy a s54 or a fully built in one piece m20.and when I mean fully built either a reliable turbo set up or a 2.8 stroker with itb maybe.
Float like a cadillac sting like a Bimmer!:)
