Looks very nice.
Is there written or video instructions for doing this job?
I will need a cloth kit soon... would like to see options on materials and more pics of any finished seats.

Should have the m3 rear seat pattern pretty soon. I will know by monday.Comment

If I send you my leather all cut out to a pattern already, do you have the proper tools to do 3/8" M3 stitching?Comment
-
I don't want it cut to a pattern already, and not sure what you are asking. The kits I make are pretty much an exact copy of the oem upholstery.
I don't recognize this funny sae language you are talking lol
Are you referring to seam allowance? Industry standard is 1cm (just slightly over 3/8" if you prefer standard). I think what threw me off is the tooling part of the question.Last edited by stitched; 07-03-2015, 10:51 PM.Comment

Thanks
Edit: are you referring to the levers on the upper part of the seat? M3 should be same as the coupe and that is where I got the template for the side bolsters. The template that I use for the center parts of vert and m3 seats came from an m3, so the adjustment will not need to be made to m3 seats. The adjustment will need to be made for convertible side bolsters.Last edited by stitched; 07-04-2015, 08:20 AM.Comment

The stitchwork looks excellent! How much expertise in upholstery do we need to get similar results when recovering them? I would think an amateur would have a difficult time making their seats look half as good as you have. I'm in for reviews but interested for sure!1987 Delphin/Black BMW 325i & 2016 Mineral Grey/Terra BMW M235i
