I have a Getrag 240 manual 5 speed collecting dust. It has ~200k miles on it and shifted decently when it came out of the car. There is the usual input shaft rattle with this one if you have a lightweight flywheel.

I'm pretty sure the 318iS only came with the M42

This won't fit the M10. The M10 uses a G240 tranny, but with a different bolt pattern in the bellhousing and differences in the shift linkage.

This is for the M42 only as far as I can tell.
