Selling a s52 shortblock. 171k miles. 99 m3. I have no idea about the history. Bought it from a dude in redondo beach. He took it out of his car and replaced with a built track motor.

I never got around to rebuilding it. It's been sitting wrapped up in my garage for a couple years.

Crank, Pistons, Rods, oil pan, oil pump, timing cover, chain, anything else you might see in there

I have a complete s50 motor that is still installed in my car but has what we're almost certain is the beginning of a head gasket failure. Car runs fine for DD, but 20 minutes hard on the track it overheats.

Might just complicate this for sale thread, but that s50 engine will be for sale soon as well once I pull it.

Car runs, drives, pulls hard if someone is interested in that motor and wants to see it before I remove it.

no accessories, long block for that one. head down to the oil pan. 151k miles been the owner for the last 5 years. Know everything about it.

Funny thing is it runs fine all day around town, just once you really beat on it, she gets upset. ;) I still run 4 sessions in a track day, let it cool down between sessions, I know it's not good for the motor but it's a champ and takes it. Anyway just full disclosure. You could just install it as is and go until the HG decides to go or maybe it doesn't.

Take both for a special deal.

Also have a ton of s52 vanos, valve train stuff, supertech valves and dual valve springs. This is how not to make a for sale thread.
