For what it's worth packages going through customs sit for a long time. These are Smilies, grills & other euro goodies I'm waiting for.

Correct. No need for the plastic cover. We designed the PCB so that it also acts as a cover.Leave a comment:

I tried, but two of the large pins were too close together to allow it to fit without modification. Plus, it's not needed since the circuit board is on the bottom of the new unit and acts as that bottom cover piece.Leave a comment:

I got mine today, pretty quick shipping from Europe and its great! Works like a charm and the programming is cool.
Like it was stated, above, remove the whole module, then pry the tabs on the bottom side to loosen the larger cover. Slide the bottom thin cover off as you won't need it. Slide the large cover on the new module so it snaps and then reinstall module into fuse box. Good to go.
Thanks for this great product.

anyone reuse the thin plastic bottom cover from the original module on the new unit? It's the piece that slides over the flat pins of your old module. I assume it's there to keep moisture outLeave a comment:

Honestly this is not a priority that warrants me taking that much time to sort out. I'm a vendor as well as many of you know and would never off load a shipping problem to my customers. Until they get what they paid for I own it (unless limits have been agreed to in advance)
That's just me
Brad I don't rely on tracking but it did apparently clear customs over 2 weeks ago. That's the last update so yes, they could show up tomorrow....or not at all.Last edited by jeffnhiscars; 04-06-2017, 04:56 AM.Leave a comment:

I filed a missing claim form out online. We will see what happens!Leave a comment:

FYI, the best way to get a human is via your local P.O. office. I have my P.O.'s number and when I have a problem I call them and ask for Karen, the station Postmaster.
Good luck with your modules.Leave a comment:

in fairness Jeff USPS tracking is limited compared to fedex and UPS. I bought a part from Thailand in December and the USPS end of the shipment wasn't updated until the day before it was delivered. Took close to 5 weeks in that case.Leave a comment:

I'm assuming you have never tried to get a human on the phone at the Postal Service and their automated tracking system just gives you what you emailed me.Well, it looks like the unicorn made a pit-stop in customs with 7 parcels on its back.
The parcels belong to: SoEm0, Gregolas, thinker_toys, jeffnhiscars, MoreMayhem, fanofe30s, TehRaydarlover.
We'll send you tracking numbers via PM, so you can ask USPS about you parcels, if we haven't done so already.Leave a comment:
