I got my entire transmission swap from the other side of the country from DHL. Now the box was busted on both ends but nothing inside was broke!

Its funny how shipping works. Thus far i've had two bent wheels, a broken mirror, broken strut, and probably more that I don't know about; all done by UPS, none covered under the insurance for one reason or another. I don't ship UPS any more, only DHL, FedEx, and Overnight. DHL has always delivered on time every time and when I had to, their insurance came through. UPS will fight you to the end on big insurance claims.

                      PM being sent!

The problem with broken stuff in shipping is mostly people being idiots. For big stuff like transmissions or diffs I always ship in a rubbermade style tub packed with carpet padding and cardboard and then zip tie the lid down like crazy. Its bulletproof. People that ship diffs and transmissions in cardboard boxes are just begging for trouble. If sellers would just package properly you wont have to deal with broken shit.
