I have this unit up and running in my E30 325iC.

Bad pic, but you get the idea. I wired it to use the stock amp, now I need to wire up the i-bus plug to make my car-pc play though it.. should be pretty slick!

No, you need to rewire the plug to match up with the e30 wiring. I spliced it in and made it a "permanent" install but it could be rewired for any aftermarket deck or stock deck again if need be. Most of the wire colors are the same. I have it running though the stock amplifier, but I am going to try and wire it up to my 4-channel MTX amp for my MB Quart components... Anyone have any ideas on how to wire it up to an amp since it has no pre-outs?

uhh.... I guess you could, I would have to see one out of the car and the amp aswell. I like the sound of the HK system in an E46, don't know that I have heard an E36 HK recently though..

Whats the park number on that radio, can i get some pics of what this unit looks like? Im interested in doing this set up. It looks like it works well with the factory amplifier. I have premium sound so it looks like can keep it.
