Additional items needed are a variable TPS, Intake air temp sensor, and some minor wiring to the main relay, and possibly a wideband o2 sensor if you plan to tune yourself. Features include a v3.0 main board with spark control all housed inside a stock 325i ecu. You can simply unplug your stock ecu, and plug the new megasquirt box right in. Here are some pictures of the setup

Ok here is the current pricing

Eta setups(includes ecu and adapter cable for 325i VR sensor, you'll need the 325i VR sensor, pulley and bracket)
    ms1-$600
    ms2-$700

    325i setups
    ms1-$550
    ms2-$650

All setups also have a $40 extra ecu core charge if you don't supply your old ecu.

Add on options include(these prices only good with purchase of a plug and play unit)
    external USB-serial adapter-$20
    variable TPS-$40(plus $15 core charge)
air intake sensor with wiring pigtail-$40
    Innovate lc-1 wideband-$200

How about an optional board that will get the OBC to work?

One way around that problem, is to use a short serial cable in between the adapter and the megasquirt board. Then you'll be able to mount the computer up in the stock location and tune it no problem.

the serial to usb adapter pissed me off. I couldnt mount the ms and tune at the same time..so i had to get a cable that was serial one end and usb other so it could fit in that tight space. FYI

    1. Yes a laptop and a wideband for tuning
    2. Megatune+related tools
    3.Just google it (its free)

And read the MegaManual its 190 pages that will
answer almost every possible questions (I read
it twice by now to make sure I was understanding
everything) I ordered my kit earlier this week should

You're including wiring and instalation instructions with this?

I've done a bit of searching here and other places with dificulty finding clear answers for a few questions.
