We made the original with scraps of carbon which we cleaned up by trimming and making them even and squared up the edges. After, we cut new pieces of carbon and layed it on top of the first couple layers to make it clean and one piece instead of seeing the weeve not line up perfectly.
Anyway, the guy who helped me make this one was willing to make more and clean them up, the problem was we had to keep it on the hush since we were "borrowing" the carbon pieces. After making the first one, we started making a second one but my old company started downsizing a lot of its work force. Which meant managers would notice if these splitters were laying around or if the carbon was getting used and not seeing any parts being made for its intended use.
They also would not order more carbon until they needed more so since the roll was running out we had to stop halfway through the second one. I'm not really sure what happened to it since that was the last thing on my mind before i left the company.
Sorry guys.
