Going rate for a 200 head?

Complete head assembly pulled from a E21 320/6 (same as e21/e30 323i) freshly torn down and rebuilt about 1000miles ago?

Sorry, my bad on that one. Early E21 323i seems to use the same 200 head from what I'm looking at, e30 323i is a 731.

      Just the same.. value?

tn325i (Steve) may know. I know he bought one for his 2.7l stroker build but I forget how much he said he paid for it.

the 731 head is worth a good bit more, the 200 is the standard eta head.
I'd think in the $150-$200 value
Remember the steam holes have to be drilled into the head to bolt it on a newer m20 block.

With a fresh documented rebuild, I'm sure you'd be in the $250 - $300 range. Just used and pulled off a parts car, an eta head would be in the $150 -$200 ballpark.

That's definitely the multipurpose head. Used in the e21 320/6, 323i, 520/6(e12), and in the e30 325e, 528e and Europes 525e. I imagine the bmw techs just sitting around the shop thinking of ways to build the eta motor. The janitor walks through right about then and says, "hey do you want me to throw out these old e21 heads?" The rest is history.
