I was linked to this thread as it seems I am the only person to ever successfully make a deal with Chris. I traded my e30 for his e28, and purchased the "famous" hayashi's so many others have seemed to have done.

I can't believe this is all happening. I met him in person, he had me over for lunch and such when we struck our deal... He's a great guy. It's a shame this is all happening. :(

Forgot to ask, Who are the others ??? I am the only one that has stated this !!!!!!!! Otherwise we would be in thosands of dollars scammed ! Well if you would like to ship me my wheels pm me? Child molesters seem like nice people too, ie "he seemed so nice." I would have never guessed they would do such a thing. I hate when people use these statements. Weh they barely Know the person. And yes it is BAD this is happening to me but good for the site and ones like it. This way people might think twice before they try to do this. It should be on the front page of every paper. And broadcast on the news, these grassroot movements are more powerful then some think they are.

If anyone else wants to donate, I have NO problem with taking care of this face to face. If he was closer I would drive up to his door and cause him as many problems as he has caused me !!!!!!!!!! Like the other west coast guy said it would already be done. Chris's problem is not goinng to go away. This is turning into quite the internet days of our lives. People do not forget things like this. It will follow him for a long time. I wish someone close enogh was ripped off so the local police would do something about it. What makes me sick is they could IF they wanted too. Trust me if one of there friends, or one of them got scammed, They would do something. Please remember folks it is up to the individual officer, to enforce the law the way they want. It does not make it wright !!!!!! Alright D-bag, I was only asking because we planned to all call Monday, and I wanted to know who else called, and what response they got.

Hey tool, dont get too uppity. I reallly shouldn't care at all if you get your money back or if this Chris guy gets in trouble. Infact, I dont. I just wanted to see why nobody actually has claimed (so it seems, its such a cluster now) to having called the PD yet by the time of your post. It's a good read and I was just wondering. You certainly never said you called ("Who called the cops yesterday?"), nobody else said they called, so go EAD. Good luck, but don't be an asshole.

Pay-Pal told me the same thing they told everyone else, "we found in your favor, but there's no money." So I called my credit card company and they reversed the charges. They said they would go after Pay-Pal for the money.

So I would advise anyone else who uses a credit card on file with Pay-Pal, to do the same. Hopefully this will be the catalyst for shaking the "Turd" down by LE.

Probably. I actually just disputed a bunch of charges that some company I'd never heard of had been making to my debit card for the last year and a half. They could only reverse back charges within 90 days, but your bank should be able to do the same.

I actually just went through this with an item my parents purchased on Ebay. The law states that you have up to 60 days to dispute a claim, despite what paypal says so the logical thing is to go through your bank but the problem is, the only transaction they will have record of is their transfer to paypal. This is a perfectly legal transaction which you authorized so even though they may start the process you will probably hit a dead end in a few days. The claim HAS to be filed through paypal sadly. My bank was very apologetic but was ultimately no help in the end.

Be careful guys. Once paypal gets fucked by the bank they will put a hold on the amount in dispute if you have the funds in your paypal balance. If you don't they will freeze your paypal account and charge you for the amount. They will ask you to forfeit the claim with the bank if you want to assume control of your account. If you don't refund them the charge then they send it to a collection agency to get it for them. Ironically you can still receive payments when it's frozen but you can't pay or withdraw the cash.

I can't tell wether you're mad at me or not because your sentence structure is so poor, however, the wheels are mine now, and I'm not selling them anytime soon.
