Here's some crappy iphone pics of my Install.





I use a dremel to cut into the headlig grill under the headlights to allow air into the flexi-tube.

After I took these photos, i removed the flexi-tube as well as the headlight cover and the difference in noise was unbelievable.

Furthermore, i found the the bottom end pickup was much improved without the headlight cover and tubing. I'm thinking because the tubing didn't fit snug under the headlights for me and ended up actually being more restrictive.

I will end up using the bracket for the canister and moving the galvanised to mount that bracket next to the canister for more stability. Unfortunately it won't look as stock as running the tubing into the headlight cover.

Very Very happy with this Purchase Kamotors, the quality is on par, if not better than other intakes that are much higher in price.

I would recommend this to anymore after a CAI for their BMW or other car.

no, my kit is better... They stole my description and pictures. Mine has the nicer brackets, better filter element, silicone couplers, hand polished and waxed and actually inspected by me. They just stole my description, pics and sell it for dirt cheap.

I am also on the fence about grabbing this kit because I was thinking of doing the 3.5" maf conversion soon.

Would something like this adapter fix that problem? or do you think the air flow would still be too restrictive for the 3.5" maf?
