E30 Ground Control Complete Coilover Suspension System- SOLD

    SOLD

    Hey R3V-

Up for sale is a full Ground Control E30 setup. This system was built by Ground Control ("option 3" on their website) which includes them shortening, reinforcing, and powdercoating the strut housings. The camber plates are the "Street" units. 500/700 springs. Brand new rear sleeves were purchased that will be included for hassle free installation. These are also setup to use M3 Swaybar Endlinks if you choose to go that route.

The full setup has an estimated 20K on it, but new custom/shortened GC/Koni struts up front were just put in a few hundred miles ago (over $250 each). Everything works as it should.

This setup was used on a daily driver in the Midwest, so there is some surface rust here and there as shown in the photos. One hub has a drilled out rotor bolt thread that can easily be tapped (I don't have the tap, will try to rethread it before sale). Brake line grommet mount has been bent and bent back before.

SOLD I am asking $1300 shipped/paypal'd to the lower 48, and am firm here. This setup over $2K +s/h through them, not including the price of the housings themselves, hubs or bearings, shipping your cores there, etc.

Feel free to PM with any questions.

With this setup can you achieve stock ride height with the coilovers at max height? I have 17" wheels and I think this sound like it may be an issue for me, I thought the same about the other set you are selling. Exactly what front struts does it use, the ix variants?

Hey man! It’s been years since I bought those tan leather seats from you- I hope your car is coming along nicely.

As far as stock ride height, I don’t know about that. But these were adjusted halfway down and the car wasn’t slammed. If you maxed the adjusters out for height I’d estimate they’d be more like H&R Sports.

The front struts are the custom red Konis GC has made for this kit. The other set I’m selling uses iX struts up front.

      Hope that helps-

Hey buddy, im sorry I didn't remember im constantly forgetting names. You know e30's there's always something that needs fixing... I'm currently using H&R Race, and if I have a passenger I rub, even with rolled fenders. When you say custom koni's does that mean you can purchase them off the shelf, or every replacement set must be custom shortened? (I'm sorry if that is a dumb question, I just don't know).

You could certainly get higher than H&R race springs with this setup.

And nope, they’re available off the shelf, you just have to purchase the front struts from GC.

EDIT: These are sold, thanks for the interest, all.
